In 2021, three young friends from Edmonton—Nick, Cole, and Ransford ("Randy")—found themselves unemployed due to COVID-19. Facing bills and uncertain government support, they used their initiative to start "The Neighbourhood Heroes," offering odd jobs around the community.
With the slogan "Saving the community one family at a time," they tackled any task, prioritizing community needs.
Over time, they focused on lawn care and landscaping, realizing the importance of green spaces. They honed their skills, obtained licenses, and researched eco-friendly practices, adopting the slogan "The Grass is Greener on Your Side."
In three years, The Neighbourhood Heroes transformed over 2,000 lawns in and around Edmonton, creating jobs for students like themselves.
Today, the team includes Rowland, a computer science student who earned a stake in the company. The Neighbourhood Heroes continue to beautify neighbourhoods, support their community, and inspire future generations.

In the summer, we have two kinds of season long packages, weed control + fertilization and a comprehensive Lawnmowing and Weed control + Fertilization subscription package. In the Winter we have two more season long packages, the basic snow removal and extra areas included. After you've chosen and purchased the service you like, you will receive a confirmation email regarding your package, a what-to-expect email, and subsequent emails with visit info before each of the visits and a notification immediately after the visit. You can signup for our subscriptions anytime and you won't be charged until the season starts, it will be automatically cancelled at the end of the season and we DO NOT auto renew you without your permission.
We will leave a service summary on your door or with you at the end of every visit which contains information about which hero visited your home, what services were provided and when they were completed. We care about you and your lawn throughout the entire season - we know that attention to detail is essential when it comes to your backyard.
