Choose Your Role: Mowing Technician or Herbicide Applicator

You’ll work independently throughout the day, visiting residential and commercial properties using company vehicles and equipment. Both roles rely on strong safety habits, attention to detail, and great customer service.

Mowing Technician (Full-Time)

Role Overview

Operate riding and push mowers, perform edging and trimming, maintain equipment, and deliver clean, professional lawn cuts. This role is ideal for techs who enjoy a relaxing, satisfying workflow — driving stop to stop, listening to music or podcasts, and making lawns look amazing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mow properties efficiently to NH quality standards
  • Perform light maintenance on mowing equipment
  • Complete edging, trimming, and clean-up
  • Maintain safe driving habits and equipment handling
  • Provide positive customer service and generate Google reviews

Requirements

  • Valid Alberta Class 5 licence
  • 3-year driving abstract + 3-year insurance history
  • Physically capable of outdoor work
  • Experience with lawn equipment is an asset (training provided)
  • Strong attention to detail and safety

Herbicide Applicator (Full-Time)

Role Overview

Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers using backpack or truck-mounted sprayers while following Alberta’s pesticide regulations. You’ll also assist with aeration, overseeding, and vegetation control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply pesticides and fertilizers safely and accurately
  • Use backpack sprayers for vegetation control
  • Perform aeration and overseeding when required
  • Protect landscaping from overspray and drift
  • Maintain safe driving and equipment handling
  • Generate Google reviews from satisfied customers

Requirements

  • Alberta Pesticide Applicator Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid driver’s licence; sprayer experience preferred
  • 3-year driving abstract + insurance history
  • Physical stamina for lifting, spraying, and moving equipment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
